The Peterson Institute of International Economics or PIIE is a private, nonprofit organization that is devoted to the study of the policies of international economics. AFA - American Finance Journal

The American Finance Journal is an academic organization whose main purpose is to study and promote the knowledge of financial economics. The organization was established in Philadelphia in 1939 and by today has over 8000 members. 


Purpose of the AFA*:

• to provide for the mutual association of persons with an interest in finance

• to improve public understanding of financial problems, and

• to provide for the exchange of financial ideas through the distribution of a periodical and other media;
